Here is what we require for your small pets to stay with us

For your pet to be able to stay at Bert's Bunny Hotel for their annual holiday or mini break you will be expected to:

  • At least 14 days in advance of your arrival at Bert’s Hotel, or within the last 12 months you need to have your rabbit’s vaccinated with the Myxomatosis RHD Plus vaccine. This vaccination gives protection against the three main rabbit diseases - Myxomatosis, Rabbit Haemorrhagic Disease 1 (RHD1) and Rabbit Haemorrhagic Disease 2 (RHD2) (This does not apply to guinea pigs).   Unfortunately failure to produce the vaccination certificate 14 days before your pets arrival  will mean your rabbit cannot stay at Bert’s Bunny Hotel.

  • We do not accept bonded pairs of unneutered rabbits but will board single unneutered rabbits.

  • Provide make sure you bring plenty of dry food for the duration of your pets stay.  Any food not used will be returned at the end of their visit.

  • Ensure you turn up at the time agreed during booking.  Please be specific and also ensure you turn up for that allocated appointment time.  If you are running late please let us know so we can rearrange an alternative convenient time.  Being late is disruptive to other bookings and my availability.

  • If we need to administer medication to your pet please make sure you bring enough for the duration of your stay.   We cannot board pets with ringworm because of the risk of the disease spreading to our other guests.  An additional fee of £5.00 or more will be added to your daily fee dependent on the the medication given and frequency.

  • You must settle any outstanding boarding fees before your pet stays at the hotel.
